Sayre Little League

"The Sayre Little League promotes good sportsmanship by athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and umpires in a positive manner. Profanity, racial, or sexist comments or other inappropriate actions directed at umpires, athletes, coaches, or team representatives, will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from this site of competition, and subject to suspension, by the Board of Directors, from the Sayre Little League fields for the remainder of the season."

Beginning with the 2008 season, all players in the Major Division and up will be required to sign and agree to a sportsmanship contract. The details, and offenses of this contract are posted below:

"By signing below, I agree to abide by the Sayre Little League Code of Conducts as established by the Sayre Little League Board of Directors. This includes, but is not limited to: unsportsmanlike conduct actions during/before/after a game; profanity at games or practices, disrespect to league officials, managers, coaches, volunteers, umpires, other players, or fans;

I realize that failure to follow the established Code of Conduct, that I can be suspended or disciplined in the following way by the League President, League Vice President or League Board of Directors.

1^st Offense: Documentation in Writing to Parent/Legal Guardian, Suspension from next game.

2^nd Offense: Documentation in Writing to Parent/Legal Guardian, Suspension from next three (3) games, probationary status, formal hearing in front of Board of Directors for approval for participation in further games or practices.

3^rd Offense: Documentation in Writing to Parent/Legal Guardian, formal hearing in front of Board of Directors, Possible Recommendation from League President/League Vice President for removal from Team/League

I agree to the terms above, and realize severe actions can and will result in more severe consequences immediately if warranted.
